Colorado Springs, CO – Kellie Fiedorek, Senior Counsel, Director of Government Affairs at Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), has joined Save the Storks as a board member. Board Chair Herb McCarthy announced the newest member following a unanimous vote at the second quarter board of directors meeting.

“We are thrilled to have Kellie join the Save the Storks board. We have worked alongside her for years and know that her tenacity will further advance our mission of bringing hope and empowerment to every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy,” said Diane Ferraro, CEO of Save the Storks.

Fiedorek has over 16 years of legal and public advocacy experience, with 13 of those at Alliance Defending Freedom. She has authored federal and state legislation and served as a trusted advisor to members of Congress, governors, attorneys general, state lawmakers, and leading policy organizations. Her work has advanced the protection of Americans’ constitutional freedoms and the dignity of women and their unborn children. She played a pivotal role in the historic overturning of Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case before the U.S. Supreme Court. She is passionate about advocating for women’s health and ensuring our culture cherishes life.

“In this post-Roe America, our calling is clear: no woman should ever face pregnancy feeling abandoned or without hope. Every woman deserves to be supported, empowered, and given the tools to embrace both motherhood and a flourishing future,” said Fiedorek. “Every mother and every child deserve dignity, love, and a future full of hope. I’m honored to join the board of Save the Storks to advance its powerful, life-changing mission.”

Kellie received her B.A. from the University of Dallas cum laude and her J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law.

DEAR READER

We hope this article enlightened and inspired you to stand up for life.

Despite the overturning of Roe v. Wade, abortions are still prevalent in our nation. As a response to the overturning, the media: from the news to entertainment sources to even political figures and celebrities, have pushed abortion as an ongoing agenda, shaping the way this generation thinks and acts. Misinformation is being spread every day, and people are sadly believing the lies.

Our articles and stories aim to tell one thing: the truth.

We know that it is both a blessing and a challenge to understand the reality of abortion, because knowledge incites belief, and belief incites action. But we’re in this together. We believe that we can make abortion unthinkable.

With your support, we look forward to a future where young women are empowered to fight for their own rights: a right to bring life into the world, to be fearless leaders, to be examples of hope, strength, and undeterred resilience. We look forward to a future where life can happen.

If this article strengthened your belief to reach women everywhere with the truth and to let life happen, then please consider helping us extend our reach by making a gift right now. Your gift of just $10 or $20 helps our mission to create a story of hope and empowerment for every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy.

We aim to create a culture that views “pro-life” as equivalent to having empathy and compassion, providing holistic care (before and beyond pregnancy) and education, and most importantly, choosing to speak and act in love. We are pro-life, pro-love, pro-woman, pro-solution.

Don’t just be part of the movement, be part of the solution, and give today.
