Growing network of mobile medical clinics partners with pregnancy health clinics to provide hope, medical services, and practical support where women need it most

PLANO, Texas — Save the Storks today highlighted the expanding impact of its nationwide network of mobile medical clinics, which partners with pregnancy health clinics to bring compassionate, life-affirming medical care directly into communities where many women face difficult pregnancy decisions. Through those partnerships, women receive ultrasounds, education, community referrals and ongoing support designed to help them make informed decisions.

Recent public health data show California, New York and Illinois rank among the states reporting the largest numbers of abortions, underscoring the need for accessible pregnancy support. Against that backdrop, Save the Storks says its mobile medical clinics meet women where they are with practical care rather than judgment.

Partner clinics across the country have shared numerous stories of women whose pregnancies took a different direction after receiving compassionate care. In Rockford, Illinois, Mattie arrived uncertain about her future while facing relationship difficulties and financial fears. After seeing her baby during an ultrasound, receiving counseling and connecting with church and community support, she and the baby’s father welcomed a healthy son.

At Caring Choices Pregnancy Help Community Inc. in Rochester, New York, Jessica sought an ultrasound after believing she had few options. After leaving a scheduled abortion appointment, she received another ultrasound, enrolled in parenting classes, accepted Christ and connected with financial assistance resources.

And in Chula Vista, California, high school senior Edna visited a Mobile Medical Clinic after friends encouraged her to seek help. Following an ultrasound and conversations with clinic staff, she chose to continue her pregnancy and parent her child. Another California partner reported that Kaitlyn later credited a free ultrasound and compassionate care with helping her welcome a healthy daughter while finishing college and eventually launching her own business.

“Every woman deserves to know she is not alone and that compassionate medical care, practical resources and ongoing support are available,” said Diane Ferraro, CEO of Save the Storks. “That’s why our mobile medical clinics make it possible for women to receive medical care, get their questions answered and know they don’t have to walk through pregnancy alone.”

Ferraro said the organization’s partnerships continue expanding into communities where support is most needed, connecting women with local pregnancy health clinics for continued care throughout pregnancy and beyond.

“When communities come together to support women, families are strengthened and lives are changed,” Ferraro said. “We are grateful for every partner clinic, volunteer and donor helping make that possible.”

DEAR READER

We hope this article enlightened and inspired you to stand up for life.

Despite the overturning of Roe v. Wade, abortions are still prevalent in our nation. As a response to the overturning, the media: from the news to entertainment sources to even political figures and celebrities, have pushed abortion as an ongoing agenda, shaping the way this generation thinks and acts. Misinformation is being spread every day, and people are sadly believing the lies.

Our articles and stories aim to tell one thing: the truth.

We know that it is both a blessing and a challenge to understand the reality of abortion, because knowledge incites belief, and belief incites action. But we’re in this together. We believe that we can make abortion unthinkable.

With your support, we look forward to a future where young women are empowered to fight for their own rights: a right to bring life into the world, to be fearless leaders, to be examples of hope, strength, and undeterred resilience. We look forward to a future where life can happen.

If this article strengthened your belief to reach women everywhere with the truth and to let life happen, then please consider helping us extend our reach by making a gift right now. Your gift of just $10 or $20 helps our mission to create a story of hope and empowerment for every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy.

We aim to create a culture that views “pro-life” as equivalent to having empathy and compassion, providing holistic care (before and beyond pregnancy) and education, and most importantly, choosing to speak and act in love. We are pro-life, pro-love, pro-woman, pro-solution.

Don’t just be part of the movement, be part of the solution, and give today.
